Job Summary: The person in this position is responsible for supporting a safe, developmentally appropriate special education program and is highly motivated to support instruction and coordinate services for children as assigned. This position will work in partnership with parents, students, teachers and administrators in accordance with Federal and State Regulations. Responsibilities: The successful candidate for this position will: Collaborate with Special Education Teacher to develop and implement lessons and activities to meet the individual needs of students in the classroom Implement positive behavior support plans as outlined by district BCBA Foster student independence Collect data on student progress Communicate effectively with students, faculty and administration Maintains professional competence through participation in professional development opportunities Additional duties as assigned by the School Principal or Director of Student Services.
