Position Overview: Foxborough Regional Charter School (FRCS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Spanish Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Spanish language instruction and a commitment to fostering a multicultural learning environment. While a teaching license is preferred, it is not required for this position. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our diverse student population. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language instruction to elementary school students. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote language acquisition. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates cultural diversity. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to enhance language learning, including technology and real-life experiences. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Spanish language instruction into interdisciplinary units and school-wide events. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student learning and success. Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in language education. General Expectations: Hold a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching Spanish language and culture to elementary students. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (teaching license preferred but not required). Proficiency in Spanish language instruction and cultural competency. Experience working with elementary school students preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
