Purpose:

The Sr. Financial Analyst – Project Finance plays a pivotal role in supporting project finance initiatives within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing project financial planning, operations, Statement of Work (SOW) review, and billing support. Proficiency in SAP project system module is essential, as it is the primary system utilized by HAEA. Effective communication with project managers is paramount for success in this role.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (40%): Develop and maintain financial forecasts and projections for projects. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs.

  • Project Financial Operations (30%): Oversee the financial operations of projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and financial guidelines. Provide guidance on cost management, project system manual.

  • SOW Review and Billing Support (20%): Review Statements of Work (SOW) to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial plan. Provide billing support, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and timely.

  • SAP Project Support (10%): Utilize SAP project support module to facilitate financial processes and reporting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the system.

  • Collaboration and Communication (10%): Maintain regular communication with project managers to understand project dynamics and financial requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally to address financial challenges and support decision-making processes.

Basic Requirements:

  • B.S. in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Advanced skills with MS Excel (able to develop macros)

  • CPA preferred

     

    Salary Range - $69,390 to $99,220
