10611 - Sr. Business Process Consultant – HMC Management

PURPOSE

The Business Process Consultant is a self-motivated professional who is in charge of leading, strategizing, and designing business operations and product management in the areas of Connected Car(CCS), Digital Key (DKC) and Mobility Platform in collaboration with the HMC R&D and their affiliates and partners, as well as manage the B2B operations management with HMG affiliates and partners. Serve as a single point of contact for CCS and DKC platform related inquiries and requests from HMG . Maintain contract compliance and facilitates contract development/ amendments with clients, HMG affiliates and partners.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Act as a key consultant to lead and support the advancement of the connected car telematics platforms in collaboration with the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) affiliate companies to explore and evaluate new vehicle technologies and features.

  • Assist the HMG affiliates in strategically planning and delivering new initiatives and platform advancements by serving as a single point of contact and functional subject matter expert across the CCS, Wireless, and DKC platforms.

  • Lead as a program manager, collaborate with HMG affiliates, Client Business Units and partners to lead and implement HMC-initiated CCS initiatives and enhancements.

  • Develop connected car business and product enhancement roadmaps and business direction, be involved in HMGs business development activities through a close working relationship with HMG affiliates, partners and business units.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of connectivity service-related business planning, operations and development including billing, reporting and maintaining contract compliance and facilitates contract development/ amendments with HMG affiliates and partners.

  • Develop, maintain, and demonstrate expert, up-to-date knowledge of connected car technologies.

  • Stay current with industry and technical trends/developments affecting areas of responsibilities.

  • Partner with executive management team to assess and improve current business processes.

  • Conducts analysis of systems specifications and uses the latest analysis/diagramming tools to represent business/technical processes.

  • Coordinate with all internal departments for client proposal creation.

  • Functions as a key advocate and single point of contact for connectivity service-related inquiries and requests from HMG affiliate companies and client business units.

  • Staying abreast of service implementation and business operation status, keep clients stay up to date with their connectivity service status

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent in the field of business, computers, information systems or related degree.

  • 6 - 8 years of IT exp. or industry work experience in consulting, strategic planning, business process design and IT governance and/or relevant project experience. 

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role preferably in the Telematics, Telecommunications, or automobile industry.

  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision (i.e., the ability to take high-level direction and proactively move a project or internal initiative from start to finish with minimal assistance).

  • Efficient with multitasking between multiple projects

  • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in business and IT organizations

  • Experience leading internal IT teams and external partners to deliver IT solutions and services within customer expectations

  • High attention to detail with strong project management and organizational skills

  • Customer facing skills at all levels of a partner organization and a strong passion for helping customers plan and build on our technology

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Critical thinking and proven ability to solve complex problems

  • Client-first mentality; ability to empathize and build positive client relationships

  • Consulting experience preferred, experienced with presentations to business management

  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

  • Ability to translate CBU business objectives and requirements into documents with functional design guidance

  • Ability to interpret difficult instructions, derive valid conclusions, and recommend reasonable courses of actions within the scope of the position.

  • Ability to travel to international sites (e.g. Korea, Toronto, Canada)

  • Well organized with ability to pay close attention to details.

  • Utilize best practices for general business, administrative, and operational procedures.

  • Ability to create standard forms, templates, and processes.

  • Fluent in Korean and English languages required

    Salary Range - $112,830 to $173,756
