Well established electrical construction company is expanding their business and is looking for apprentices and experienced HVAC installers and technicians to join their company for new industrial and commercial building projects. Ideal candidates will ensure job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained in every stage of the project, interact professionally with management and other trades on site, create a positive environment that works to maintain a sufficient and qualified work force, frequently working at heights, using equipment, in a safe and professional manner.

[HVAC Technician Position Overview:]{.underline}

Work includes HVAC heating, cooling, boiler, chiller, and refrigeration systems. Must communicate effectively with customers, as well as vendors, dispatch, and other trades. Represent Frankart Mechanical in a professional manner. Able to accept direction and/or lead and delegate the work if necessary.

 

[HVAC Technician Job Skills:]{.underline}

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • HVAC and refrigeration repair and installation
  • Working knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Able to use all specialty tools including Recovery Machine and Multi Meter, Combustion analysis, etc.
  • Able to install equipment
  • Very strong technical background
  • Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy and productivity
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

     

EDUCATION:

  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Trade School a plus
  • Manufacturer certificates and training a plus
  • EPA certificate for refrigerant handling a plus
