Our client, a pioneer in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Technical Program Manager, to join their Hardware Test Engineering organization. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of the Vehicle Integration - Central Test team. The ideal candidate will have collaboration experience, coordination and time-management, and understanding of industry standards which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Location: Foster City, CA and Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $80/ hour

What’s the Job?

  • Collaborate with the Manager of Test Engineering and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for hardware testing programs.

  • Plan, coordinate, and support execution of hardware testing activities, including environmental, electrical, and EMC tests for components and subsystems

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements in all testing processes and procedures

  • Manage relationships with external test providers and test facilities suppliers, coordinating outsourced testing activities and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tests

  • Coordinate test facilities availability and scheduling, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and minimizing downtime. Additionally, Demonstrate a strong understanding of project priorities and effectively allocate and support the assignment of work requests

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Proven experience (5 years) in technical program management, specifically managing timeline and budget in hardware testing for components and subsystems

  • Understanding of environmental, electrical, and EMC testing methodologies, tools, and industry standards

  • Experience in coordinating and managing outsourced testing activities, working with external suppliers and test facilities

  • Excellent program management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery
