Legacy Partners Director of Property Services (Req #832) in Foster City, California

Summary:Plan, organize, coordinate, and inspect all Capital Projects. Inspect, generate punch lists, and sign off to accept new construction projects. Assist in due diligence inspections of new business deals. Assists with annual budgetary figures. Generate status reports. Conduct property safety inspections and training as needed. Consult and make recommendations on all incidents of water intrusion and mold, lead, asbestos, and other substances. Otherwise, relieve officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail. This is a remote position but requires frequent travel to Bay Area properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Possess a valid drivers license, insurance, and reliable transportation to visit property sites regularly.

Willing to travel, as needed, to perform Company business.

Support onsite staff with facilitates operations and training.

Compose and type scope of work, contracts, routine correspondence, and status reports.

Organize and maintain files, correspondence, and other records.

Investigate and perform a diagnosis of residential service requests and route any commercial service requests directly to the appropriate contractors.

Interface with architects, structural engineers, contractors, building inspectors, building engineers, and management staff as needed.

Coordinate vendors to meet deadlines in the completion of Capital Projects.

Conduct research, compile, and type accurate timelines, historical records, and statistical reports.

Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings.

Make copies of specifications, research, punch lists, correspondence, or other printed materials.

Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and ability. Education/Experience:Five years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, specification sheets, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Math Ability:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:Word processing, Spreadsheets, Timelines, Internet software, E-mail.

Supervisory Responsibilities:This job requires the supervision of multiple vendors and others to ensure quality results in their work.
