Visa Commercialization and Go To Market Manager, VBS Global Cardable Product in Foster City, California

Visa Business Solutions (VBS) Global Cardable Product Commercialization Team has responsibility for ensuring adherence to Visa’s Go to Market and Product Development and Delivery process across the full suite of Visa Business Solutions Cardable Product solutions, including: P&L accountability, development of product vision for Visa's commercial solutions, creation of issuer segment strategies, commercialization of new and enhanced products and services, pricing, and product engagement issuing financial institutions and partners. The team serves financial institutions and their downstream clients, fintechs, and other partners by providing payment products and services to large and middle market corporate/multinational companies, governments and commercial supply chain/B2B segments. The Global Commercialization Team works collaboratively with the Product, Platform, Partnerships, Servicing, Technology and Commercial Sales Teams as well as other regions, ensuring alignment on market positioning and collaborative product development across all functional areas globally. Job Description/Essential Functions We are seeking a Commercialization Manager who can collaborate with key business and technology partners to support product development and delivery for new product features, functionality and new product launches end-to-end through the product lifecycle. The right candidate is a self-starter, ready to learn and experiment, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the launch and growth of multiple VBS Card Products features, functionality and new products across a wide range of workstreams including Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Implementation, Client Service and Product. This position requires working with teams that follow Agile practices as well as traditional product development and delivery methods. In conjunction with the Product Owner, this person will help to develop our strategy and toolset to support new features as they go to market. This role will be adept at using core product collateral and sale-enablement content as a method to empower customers and increase product adoption. This is NOT a technical program management role. This role will work directly with the Visa Card Products Global product managers to bring the features, functionality and product vision to life and deliver upon it. Basic Qualifications • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Finance or Similar • Background in design and development of marketing materials • Quantitative skills to organize & structure data from disparate internal, external sources • Strong writing, verbal, and project management skills • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills • Strong technical aptitude, including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter, and other e-learning tools • Able to work independently and in a matrixed environment Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications & Experience * 5-8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance or similar * Extensive hands-on experience performing change impact assessments to determine impact to internal and external stakeholders * Strong knowledge of Agile development practices, methodologies, and tools (e.g. Jira, Jira Align) * Strong technical aptitude, including demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Presenter, and other e-learning tools. * Ability to collaborate with stakeholders (Business owners, Architects, Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and others) in the creation of solutions for complex, global business problems; ensure all stakeholders have a common understanding of all solution requirements * Collect and transform information into useful, informative and interesting content for customers and employees, which can convey ideas relevant to the industry * Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, dependencies and impacts * Provide timely and accurate reporting on product launch progress to all stakeholders * Participate in continuous improvement efforts aligned with modern agile, lean and design thinking practices * Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively * Excellent verbal and written, communication and presentation skills, ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes, and the capacity to stay organized while managing completing priorities * Ability to thoroughly understand complex and business and technical issues and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority * Drive complex projects in collaboration with product owners and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels * Work autonomously with ongoing supervision from manager and leadership * Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible * Commercial card payments and/or B2B payments experience preferred Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Monday (Sunday in some countries where Sunday is the start of the week) and Wednesdays. Wednesdays are designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership.
