Geisinger Research Project Coordinator (Remote Capable) in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Administrative Director or an experienced Project Manager or designee, responsible for assisting with coordination of projects as part of the MyCode Genomic Screening and Counseling Program. Coordination duties include project planning, project tracking, data collection, assisting in data analysis, assisting in the creation of final reports and publications. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with the development and coordination of new projects, and protocol implementation and regulatory submissions.

Job Duties

  • Works under the direction of experienced project managers and research investigators to coordinate projects primarily related to the MyCode Genomic Screening and Counseling Program .

  • Tracks ordering of supplies and project related expenses, including invoices .

  • Ensures adherence to federal or other regulatory requirements.

  • Assists in the development, implementation and coordination of protocols.

  • Under supervision, implements a project plan and provides overall project coordination, including progress tracking and reporting, quality control, recruitment and research support staff training.

  • Coordinates all research project-related activities to assist the research team with meeting project goals and milestones, based on study design.

  • Communicates resource needs, issues, project status and milestones met to project team and project leader.

  • Develops and delivers study specific material such as tracking logs, templates, monitoring tools, study binders, process manuals, etc.

  • Submits request for data extracts according to the study protocol and direction from the research investigator and project manager, works with REDCap database for data management and reporting .

  • Assists with submission of final reports, study manuscripts, grant applications, and contract initiation request submissions.

    This position is remote-capable, with possibility of being fully remote or a hybrid of remote and in-office .
