At TCS Communications, LLC as a Technician Quality Control Field you’ll perform inspections of path creation activities relative to construction/upgrade of cable television or telephone systems to ensure an outstanding product is produced within

specifications and engineering guidelines including change orders. Must have Telecommunications experience.

    What you’ll do as a Technician II Quality Control Field

  • Administers the Quality Program ensuring that all work is inspected and scored including observing Underground Crews and their production.

  • Produces documents to generate monthly and year-to-date quality reports.

  • Analyzes and provides information about quality issues and corrective action implementation.

  • Able to use hand tools to fix an issue that comes up during inspection.

  • Proactively review quality processes to ensure they are aligned to expectations.

  • Identify any quality requirements that are unique and ensure that they are communicated appropriately

  • Inspect work product for quality and quantity as designed.

  • Operates vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations including daily maintenance of vehicle.

  • Additional duties may be assigned

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.

  • A good driving record is required.

  • Minimum two (2) years’ previous experience or training.

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

    Additional qualifications (if applicable)

  • Must have knowledge of telecommunications network structure.

  • Must be able to read and understand cable television and telephone construction prints.

  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or environments is necessary.

  • Proven decision-making skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, highly visible/risk intensive environment.

    Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely : capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions, work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, use tools, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift 55+ pounds

  • Occasionally : use portable ladder, climbing ladders 20+ feet, work in confined spaces and climb stairs

    Salary Range $ 19.00 to $24.00
