Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer - Diminishing Manufacturing Sources in Fort Worth, Texas

The selected candidate will participate in the coordination of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) redesign projects to ensure work is complete within cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Under guidance from more senior personnel, the selected candidate analyzes technical and obsolescence data and reports to identify potential impacts to the F-35 program. Specific responsibilities will include: - Perform duties as the DMS Redesign Cost Account Manager (CAM) - Coordinate and conduct periodic reviews of DMS Redesign projects with internal Value Stream Teams (VSTs) and support customer and supplier meetings. - Manage, review and disposition DMS Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLs), and develop, coordinate, and present DMS Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to the Customer. - Support Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and other proposal development efforts on an ad-hoc basis. - Support the development of DMS redesign and technology refreshment roadmaps and planning activities, including follow-on development and sustainment initiatives. - Other DMS redesign tasks as required, including cooperation with DMS management teammates and tasking.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires a minimum of an Interim Secret Clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications This position requires a minimum of an Interim Secret Clearance to start. - Cost Account Manager (CAM) trained or certified. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Desired skills - Ability to be Flexible and quickly adapt and change to meet Customer requirements. - Demonstrate excellent Organization and Time Management skills in order to operate in a High Volume environment. - Demonstrate excellent Communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills with internal and external Customers including executive level Leadership. - Experience with Trade Study and/or Business Case Analysis to support Optimized Decision Making. - Experience managing multiple Projects and working with Stakeholders and Leadership. - Experience or familiarity with Aircraft Avionics, or Mission Systems Equipment components. - Understanding of Systems Engineering processes and practices. - Knowledge of Obsolescence Management or Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMS or DMSMS). - Knowledge of F-35 subsystems, electronic components. - Experience working Independently and as an Individual Contributor to a Team. - Analytical and Problem Solving Skills. - Ability to Research independently. - Ability to Multi-task. - Detail Oriented.
