Job Summary:

The FSSC is seeking an innovative individual who thinks "outside of the box".This position assists in managing the Accounts Receivable department. The AR Supervisor will provide supervision, mentoring, leadership, and training in the development of FSSC staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Directing daily AR collection activities and performing Aging reviews.

  • Conduct PMP reviews for direct reports.

  • Host team meetings.

  • 1stinternal escalation point of contact for AR Specialists and Associates

  • Provide timely communication to AR/T&E Manager for any processing delays, control deficiencies, or personnel issues.

  • Ensure training of team members in Fort Worth and Bangalore.

  • Work directly with FSSC India AR Manager and Supervisor to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with FSSC processes / procedures and perform to required service levels.

  • Continuously identify ways to eliminate waste in current processes and improve efficiency / effectiveness.

  • Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees.

  • Coordinate collection efforts to ensure receivables do not age beyond 60 days.Maintain customer account balances to ensure balances aged over 30 days does not exceed 10% of the total AR balance (% dependent on business location).

  • Coordinate discussions with TSV Finance Management and Sales Departments to assist Collectors to resolve customer related payment issues.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • 3-5 plus years of working experience, or equivalent combination of education and bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience in managing projects or programs.

  • Finance, Accounting, AR leadership capability experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience in SAP, Cforia and/or other related systems and tools strongly preferred.

  • Good understanding & advanced knowledge of the SAP financial system.

  • Extensive level of experience working within a Shared Services environment, preferred.

  • Candidate must have a basic understanding of the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act as it relates to controls over the Accounts Receivable processes.

  • Limited travel required (up to 5%).

  • Coordinate with other staff, departments, management, and customers to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Proficient in using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
