AUI Partners Quality Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality management system to ensure the highest level of product and process quality across our organization. The primary focus will be on maintaining and improving the quality standards for our renewable energy services, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. The Quality Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement quality control measures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Develop & Implement AUI’s Quality Control/Quality Assurance Program:

  • Develop and implement a robust quality management system to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Establish and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of quality control processes.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of employees.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and services.

  • Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to address customer concerns and improve satisfaction.

  • Auditing and Documentation :

  • Perform weekly pro-active quality reviews with Project teams.

  • Document all quality inspections and prep meetings.

  • Provid e support for project specifications as requested .

  • Review drawings for quality issues as requested by Project Managers.

  • Interpret project details and specifications.

  • Assess field conditions and communicate recommended action.

  • Oversee and assist in the management of mitigating and resolving potential claims .

  • Assist in reviewing Plans do quality review of drawings when requested .

  • Monitor and Enforce AUI’s Quality Control/Quality Assurance Program:

  • Coordinate closely with General Superintendents and Superintendents to ensure our Quality Control Programs (QC Manuals, QC Meetings, and QC Photographs) are properly implemented and executed.

  • Monitor QC/QA r esults and provide immediate attention when there are issues.

  • Audit QC/QA plan and enforce work plans and procedures .

  • Research corrective measures when necessary and recommend action.

  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop, maintain , and communicate policies, procedures, and processes that help prevent problems from occurring .

  • Evaluate all solutions for Safety, Quality, and Cost impact .

  • Inform all necessary personnel of the overall impact of the problem and ensure the proper communication and execution takes place through resolution .

  • Train others to develop more advanced skills in effective troubleshooting .

  • Studies problems and recommends solutions .

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify , assess, and document project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and report on identified risks, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to minimize their impact.

  • Support the implementation of risk management processes and tools.

  • Relationships:

  • Participate in networking events and business development opportunities within Industry and Professional organizations and associations .

  • Ensure there is proper communication and customer service between your team and the organization .

  • Maintain positive, productive relationships with ALL stakeholders, including AUI employees, Subcontractors, Vendors, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and regulatory entities .

  • Always represents AUI with the highest standard of professionalism – Leads by example .

  • Miscellaneous Duties:

  • Receive Supervisory guidance with respect to overall objectives ; operate within department policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives and perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction .

  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to solar energy quality standards.

  • Always adheres to company procedures and policies .

  • Attend and participate in meetings as required .

  • Provide support on any special projects as requested .

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience in leading quality audits, inspections, and root cause analysis investigations.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills.

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and driving quality initiatives.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) are desirable.

  • Will need to travel 100% of the time.
