Lockheed Martin Quality Analyst (Level 2) in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Quality Analyst

This position will report to the Associate Manager of F-35 Quality Delivery Operations with responsibility for F-35 Product-Quality activities to support the following build areas: Aircraft Finishing Facility (AFF), Acceptance Test Facility (ATF), Fuel Test Facility (FTF), Ground Operations, Flight Operations, DD-250 (artifact collection and aircraft preparation stage for sale to USG), and Ferry (delivery to customers around the Globe).

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing timely, responsive, and exceptional Quality Inspection and Analysis capabilities.

• Perform “Safe for Flight” release of fighter aircraft for delivery operations. Analyze open defects/discrepancies to determine airworthiness.

• F-35 Delivery Operations Quality liaison between Production and DCMA Teams in multiple build areas.

• Directly responsible for conducting surveillance audits for compliance to the F-35 Quality Management Plan.

• Building and Maintaining professional working relationships with teams across the F-35 program including Production, DCMA, Engineering, Production Planning & Control (PP&C) and Q&MS colleagues.

• Develop and implement inspection plans, procedures and tools that effectively detect product defects.

• Analyzing and interpreting data and metrics in a manner that leads to actionable intelligence and continuous improvement.

• Support Action Requests (AR) and associated Field Service Reports (FSR) from field customers, participate in Corrective Action Request (CAR) activities, and process Quality Assurance Record (QAR) functions that address product non-conformances, Lost Tools and FOD incidents.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of aviation manufacturing, production and/or flightline operations experience.

• 2+ years of aviation quality experience.

• Experience with aircraft maintenance and sortie (flight) generation technical acumen.

• Professional experience working on and with multi-functional teams.

• Change Management, Conflict Resolution, Interpersonal Relationship and Team Building skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external Customers, Team Members, Leadership, Colleagues and Peers.

• Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering specifications, drawings, and data analytics.

• Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills:

• Associate degree in aviation, manufacturing, management, leadership, or related discipline

• Experience with Product-Quality methods either from the quality or manufacturing perspective

• Experience exercising Aircraft "Safe for Flight Release" or "Exceptional Release" certification.

• Fighter or bomber aircraft maintenance and sortie (flight) generation experience

• Experience managing FOD incident, Lost Tool, mishap, and product nonconformance investigations.

• Ability to effectively navigate complex product and process-related requirements to validate nonconformances and develop corrective actions in coordination with DCMA and Production colleagues.

• Experience with Automated Logistics Information System (ALIS) or similar Aircraft maintenance management Systems, Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similar manufacturing system, Product Data Management (PDM) or similar engineering database, Quality Assurance Documentation System (QADS) or similar system.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
