Lockheed Martin Project Engineer (Level 3) in Fort Worth, Texas

You will be the Project Engineer for the Mission Systems Roadmaps (MSR) Common Systems. Our team is responsible for the development of comprehensive, integrated, and executable plans and solutions to support software vision, roadmap, development, and integration.
The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs) in Fort Worth, Texas is looking for world class talent to serve as a full-time Project Engineer.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Software Development environments/lifecycle and effective communication skills.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Technical project manager responsible for providing support for the development of comprehensive, integrated, and executable plans and solutions to support software vision, roadmap, development, and integration.
• Work with peers in multiple portfolios to assist with capture and execution of Internal Research and Development (IRAD) funds, as well as Customer Research and Development (CRAD) funds/contracts with our external customers.
• Support staffing discussions and planning, managing staffing capacity and allocations across multiple projects in accordance with program priorities, schedule needs and budgets.
• Coordinate across multiple business areas and industry partners and form strong working relationships to accomplish our customer's missions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a US Citizen
• Active Top Secret Government Security Clearance with investigation or CV date within 5 years
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Software Development, Systems Analysis, or Computer Science
• Project Management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Active SCI clearance
• Experience with Control Account Management a/or Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Desire to work with a group of multidisciplinary engineers
• Experience using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Servant-leadership attitude
• Familiarity with C++, and/or CUDA, MATLAB and RUST
• Knowledge of Software Development environments / lifecycle
• Experience with proposals and estimating, Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills as the position will require inter-organizational and customer interactions.
• Demonstrable work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Ability to track multiple concurrent projects
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
