POSITION: Part-Time Bartender

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Bar Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Bartender at Cowtown Coliseum. This position is responsible for the overall accurate service and accounting of all transactions of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned bar.

  • Performs location worker assignments.

  • Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.

  • Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.

  • Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Bar Manager.

  • Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities:

  • Physical inventory stand sheet

  • Cash slips

  • Verifies the proper item prices to the beverage menu.

  • Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.

  • Performs location worked duties as assigned.

  • Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older (where applicable).

  • Must have basic working knowledge of cash handling procedures.

  • Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count money and make change quickly.

  • Must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation.

  • Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work

Hours of Work and Travel Requirements

  • Varies by show to include days, nights, weekdays and weekends.
