JOB SUMMARY The Operations Business Analyst II is responsible for optimizing and enhancing operations efficiency in the drilling, completions, and production of natural gas. This position is responsible for analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to drive performance and mitigate risks. This position applies practical job knowledge. Usually works independently under general supervision and requires the ability to influence others in the assigned work area by explaining facts, policies, and practices. The problems faced are difficult but generally not complex. RESPONSIBILITIES Job duties of the Operations Business Analyst II may include: • Monitor drilling and completions key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, and provide insights and recommendations to management. • Conduct data analysis and use statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization. • Create and manage dashboards to track operational performance. • Collaborate with cross functional teams to map and analyze operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry policies and recommend strategies to meet compliance requirements. • Collaborate with stakeholders, including operations teams, engineering department, and regulatory agencies. • Communicate effectively and work to influence key stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures. • May provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals and others. • Perform other duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS • Skilled in Wellview management and reporting. • Experience developing data analytics tools using platforms such as Spotfire or Power BI. • Experience with P2, SCADA, and Enertia software preferred. • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. • Cognitive and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and organization skills EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS • This position is located at BKV’s Fort Worth, Texas office. • Remote work arrangements will be considered. On-site presence may be required for meetings or specific projects. • Indoor working environment. Requires sitting for an extended period of time, performing repetitive motions, and operating standard office equipment. • May occasionally be exposed to distracting noise level while sharing office space with others.
