NBCU Local DFW is seeking a highly motivated Brand Multiplatform Producer with video, digital, social and presentation experience to join the Brand Marketing team.  Reporting to VP, Brand and Strategic Marketing, the Brand Multiplatform Producer will be highly motivated and have a keen eye for production, visual storytelling, and a strong interest in our brands.  This is an opportunity to join a brand team of passionate creatives who create content for multiple platforms in two languages. Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualize and produce brand campaigns in English and Spanish to help promote our brands and drive audience engagement to our NBC 5 and Telemundo39 programming and content

  • Write and edit promotable spots while working closely with the Brand Marketing team, news managers and producers

  • Produce original digital content for both NBC5 and T39 that lives on multiple platforms

  • Support our news with daily topicals as needed

  • Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines 

  • Attend weekly planning/production meetings and adhere to other duties as assigned 

  • Create and feed out-of-home and off channel creative to various vendors

  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all production team members 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in local television station

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications and/or equivalent work experience

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work in Fort Worth, Texas, just south of DFW airport

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

  • Must have valid driver’s license

Desired Characteristics:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills 

  • Knowledge and working understanding of production and post-production techniques and facilities

  • Clear understanding and working knowledge of producing exceptional creative campaigns

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Strong promotion copywriting skills

  • Able to meet deadlines under pressure and manage multiple projects at once

  • Collaborates well with others in a team environment

  • Experience working with both internal and external clients
