Adecco US, Inc. Material Handler / Forklift Operator in Fort Worth, Texas

Adecco is currently hiring for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in the North Fort Worth area. The role involves various tasks, such as order picking, stocking, packaging, and other material handling, and inventory control tasks. The specialist will ensure timely and accurate shipments are made to customers using various indicators or signals. The role requires collaboration with key business partners to ensure timely execution and appropriate safeguards to protect during transit. This includes interacting with Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, Operations, and Material Control to identify and meet business requirements.

Job Summary:

The DC Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for stocking DC shelves, picking, packing, consolidating, and shipping to customers. They are also required to operate material handling equipment within a high-volume temperature-controlled warehouse. To assure team continuity across all warehouse operations, this position may also be required to learn, perform, and be certified to assist within other areas, including material control, logistics, or others as assigned.

Travel: Will Travel for 2 weeks for Training May 13th to May 27th, 2024

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

The specialist will pick up the required material using basic material handling equipment promptly. They will complete electronic and/or manual verification of items picked for accuracy, and visually identify and report any variations and/or damaged inventory per documented procedures. The specialist will complete packaging, processing, and/or shipment of orders as assigned, load and unload trucks using manual and electric equipment as required, and perform physical and ERP/Enterprise Resource Planning goods movements using various forms of electronic devices and/or logs. They will process stock transfers and material requests, follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks, maintain and engage in the promotion of a safe work environment, and work extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks including mandatory overtime as business needs dictate.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The specialist should possess general proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/Enterprise Resource Planning. They should be able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced, changing environment, maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors, maintain regular and predictable attendance, and continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description. They should also possess the ability to communicate verbally and written word in English.

Experience:

The specialist should have 2 years of related disciplines experience, highly preferred. Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, articulated mast, stock picker, reach truck) is preferred, if none, the ability to become certified is required.

Education:

The specialist should be a High School graduate, and 2 years of advanced education is preferred.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
