Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a an Instructional System Designer (ISD)

What You Will Be Doing

As an Instructional System Designer (ISD) for Lockheed, you will work with your team to apply the 5-step ISD process and Agile principles to create and sustain advanced technology high-IMI level courseware and training; and as the Database Administrator (DBA) you will maintain and sustain the Database where all ISD analysis will occur. You will work closely with the Curriculum and Training Managers to ensure all requirements and objectives are met with the highest fidelity and quality possible.

Basic Qualifications:

-Extensive ISD experience, especially supporting the F-35 program

-Database Administration and/or Relational Database Development experience

-Experience with importing large data volumes and managing large databases, be able to execute and troubleshoot database scripts and report/correct finding and issues to the team

-Ability to communicate with military industry and academic partners, engineers, multimedia specialists, technical writers, and subject matter experts

-Familiarity with military training standards and developing training for domestic and international military personnel.

-At least five years of experience applying Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and best practices to analyze design, develop, and implement training products

Desired Skills:

-Experience with Multi-Media Design Architecture and eLearning standards, including Interactivity Levels 2, 3, and 4, SCORM, and Web environments

-Familiarity with existing LM products and processes, to include Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) hardware and software

-DominKnow experience

-Unity Experience

-Proven experience working with VR training

-Experience producing high-fidelity DoD courseware in a classified environment

-Strong systems & software engineering and/or database administration process background

-Experience applying writing, editing, and proofreading skills to training products

-Experience reading and creating training on technical data

-Proficient in Microsoft Office

-Experience applying writing, editing, and proofreading skills to training products

Agile development experience in a courseware setting

-A Master’s degree in a related field or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least seven years of recent related experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
