Adecco US, Inc. DC Fulfillment Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas

The DC Fulfillment Specialist is a functional role that includes distribution order picking, stocking, packaging, and other material handling, and inventory control tasks; ensuring timely and accurate shipments are made to our customers using various indicators or signals. The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure timeliness of execution, appropriate safeguards to protect during transit, and or other. Interacting with Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, Operations and Material Control to identify and meet business requirements.

Job Summary:

Required to stock DC shelves, pick, pack, consolidate, and ship to customers, Operate material handling equipment within a high-volume temperature-controlled warehouse. To assure team continuity across all warehouse operations, this position may also be required to learn, perform, and or be certified to assist within other areas including material control, logistics, or others as assigned.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Timely picking of required material using basic material handling equipment

  • Complete electronic and/or manual verification of items picked for accuracy.

  • Visually identify and report any variations and/or damaged inventory per documented procedures.

  • Complete packaging, processing and/or shipment of orders as assigned.

  • Load and unload trucks using manual and electric equipment as required.

  • Perform physical and ERP/Enterprise Resource Planning goods movements using various forms of electronic devices and/or logs.

  • Process stock transfers and material requests.

  • Follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks.

  • Maintain and engage in the promotion of a safe work environment.

  • As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/Enterprise Resource Planning (D365 preferred).

  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

  • Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and written word in English.

Experience:

  • 2 years related disciplines experience highly preferred.

  • Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, articulated mast, stock picker, reach truck) preferred, if none, ability to become certified required

Education:

  • High School graduate

  • 2 years advanced education preferred. Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
