Description

Management Resources is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager in our wholesale distribution team based in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial data, and contribute to process improvements for operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Regularly conduct data analysis for compliance with company policies and internal control frameworks.

• Perform month-end closing tasks, including the preparation and review of journal entries and variance analysis.

• Maintain the fixed asset ledger, ensuring correct recording of additions, disposals, depreciation, and useful life adjustments.

• Prepare and disseminate periodic financial reports to management and respond to any subsequent inquiries.

• Review and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.

• Facilitate both external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

• Analyze and interpret general business documents and information as needed.

• Drive improvements in processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a necessity for this role.

• Practical experience with all Accounting Functions is required.

• Must possess a strong background in Auditing.

• Demonstrable expertise in managing General Ledger is essential.

• Experience with Month End Close processes is mandatory.
