[ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: [Member Safety - includes but not limited to the following requirements:]{helvetica",sans-serif"=""}]{helvetica",sans-serif"=""}

  1. Position yourself in program areas to continually monitor and supervise the safety and behavior of members. Ensure that members are never left alone and are supervised at all times.
  2. Ensure attendance is maintained and turned in daily that is complete, accurate and on-time.
  3. Ensure equipment is in good condition and members are instructed in proper and safe use of equipment.
  4. Ensure that members know what to do in case of an emergency (fire, severe weather, violence, contamination, etc.).
  5. Ensure members are properly supervised when being transported or when walking from one place to another.
  6. We do not administer medications to members. If a member should bring a medication, ensure it is secured at all times and cannot be accessed by any members.
  7. Ensure that all potentially harmful objects, chemicals cleansers and substances are secured away from members at all times.
  8. Report and document all incidents and accidents as soon as they occur by filling out the proper paperwork and submitting it to the Unit Director.
  9. Communicate to management, in a timely way, all concerns regarding the safety and welfare of members.
  10. Contribute to ensuring that facilities, equipment and supplies are maintained by reporting any deficiencies.
