BAE Systems Senior Financial Analyst, Aftermarket (Hybrid) in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Description

BAE Systems ES US Controls segment is looking for a lead Financial Analyst who will drive improvements to forecasting, reporting, and data/business analysis of the Aftermarket business. This person will be the focal point for interactions with Operations, Programs, and Finance functions.

This role will be conducted in a Hybrid Remote work format , with the individual splitting their time between our Fort Wayne, IN offices, and remotely. To be considered for this opportunity, an individual must currently reside within a reasonable daily commute of our Fort Wayne, IN office.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost and program accounting initiatives for the Aftermarket Production shop

  • Lead initiatives related to low volume and excess inventory

  • Assist in the annual physical inventory preparation and execution

  • Perform month-end closing and prepare journal entries related to inventory variance

  • Investigate cost variances and drive actions to make corrections if needed

  • Perform periodic internal controls testing

  • Forecast, report, and analyze sales, gross margin, cash flow

  • Work closely with Program Managers on performance of programs

  • Partner with the operations team to drive continuous improvement and cost reductions

  • Perform business analysis in a fast-paced, dynamic position working with many cross-functional teams.

Pursuant to a US Government contract, selected individual must be a US Person.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proven problem solving abilities

  • Ability to work in a team environment under deadline constraints

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for working with diverse work teams and various functional areas

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel

  • Demonstrated ability to implement change and drive to successful completion

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Oracle)

  • MBA with a concentration in Finance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64440 - $109530

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
