In this position, the Billing Clerk is responsible for reviewing bills and performing data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software. If you are based in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area, you'll be interested in this short-term contract / contract to permanent Billing Clerk opportunity.

Your responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, and process bills or invoices for services rendered

  • Build financial controls and procedures

  • Evaluate billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary

  • Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency Requirements - Excellent data entry skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • Billing experience desired

  • Medicaid Billing experience preferred

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Knowledge of medicaid

  • Medicaid Claim experience

  • Prior experience working with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
