Laboratory Analyst
Seeking a Lab Analyst who is ready to utilize their skillset to work with a Global leading Environmental testing company in Fort Wayne!
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Schedule: 1 st Shift
Pay: $60-$70k
Responsibilities:
Performing chemical analysis and preparing samples using standard techniques.
Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
Calibration of instrumentation.
Competency on complex instrumentation instrument specific software (training is provided).
Responsible for keeping personal training documentation current and accurate.
Responsible for timely completion of assigned/scheduled QC samples.
Understands and utilizes backlog reports to manage personal workload.
Responsible for performing job functions in compliance with company environmental, health and safety and quality assurance standards.
Requirements:
2-4 years of industrial laboratory experience is required.
BS or BA in chemistry or related field (3 -5 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree).
EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experience preffered.
Wet Chemistry, GC-MS, LC-MS experience preferred.
