Laboratory Analyst

Seeking a Lab Analyst who is ready to utilize their skillset to work with a Global leading Environmental testing company in Fort Wayne!

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule: 1 st Shift

Pay: $60-$70k

Responsibilities:

  • Performing chemical analysis and preparing samples using standard techniques.

  • Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.

  • Calibration of instrumentation.

  • Competency on complex instrumentation instrument specific software (training is provided).

  • Responsible for keeping personal training documentation current and accurate.

  • Responsible for timely completion of assigned/scheduled QC samples.

  • Understands and utilizes backlog reports to manage personal workload.

  • Responsible for performing job functions in compliance with company environmental, health and safety and quality assurance standards.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of industrial laboratory experience is required.

  • BS or BA in chemistry or related field (3 -5 years laboratory experience may substitute for degree).

  • EPA method D1633, 537.1 or 533 experience preffered.

  • Wet Chemistry, GC-MS, LC-MS experience preferred.
