Summary

Under the direction of the Banquet Manager and Banquet Supervisor, the Banquet Server will be responsible for greeting, assisting and serving guests at the MirroCenter functions and events. Assists with service prep, room set up, placement of decorations, food/beverage service, clean up of service stations and event facility. Maintains dining ambiance with positive enthusiastic attitude while responding to questions, complaints and requests to ensure customer satisfaction. Participates in all departmental meetings, orientation and training sessions. Responsible for excellence in customer service in all aspects of our service areas. The responsibilities will also include following all Food Safety regulations and sanitation guidelines. Works at any/all Parkview entities, as needed.

Education

High school diploma/GED preferred or a minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services, customer services, of general labor preferred. Previous experience in nutritional services in a medical or hospital setting preferred.

Other Qualification

Must be 16 years of age. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to multi-taskand work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to use departmental equipment, as outlined by the department. Ability to perform the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, stooping and bending.
