AON Operations Specialist II in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

Aon Is Looking For An Operations Specialist II

This position will support Aon’s Affinity Insurance Services group in the AICPA Insurance Programs Department and will be based out of the Fort Washington, PA office with a Hybrid 3-4 days in the office schedule.

This is a senior role in our Customer Support area for the AICPA. Primary accountabilities are to support the AICPA Insurance Trust. As a key support person for the Customer Support Manager you will work to maintain the highest of processing and service quality and SLAs for the AICPA Insurance Trust.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process applications assigned to Affinity West for the AICPA Insurance Trust

  • Provide direction and support for the Affinity East team as a life and disability SME

  • Update and review SOPs – Standard Operating Procedures for application processing and the Customer Support transactions

  • Respond to carrier communications via email and written correspondence

  • Identify Customer issues requiring new business processing, increase in coverage and/or transfer issues that require carrier or technology intervention.

  • Interact with other departments on various projects including new programs, products and technology

  • Support knowledge management transfer within the department through training, quality and intranet projects

  • Maintains customer records by updating account or policy information.

    Required Skills

    *Must Possess active Life, Accident and Health and/or Property & Casualty licenses

  • 5+ years processing Life, Health and Disability products

  • 2+ years of creating procedures and/ or SOPs for support teams

  • Developed expertise in business rules and processes for Life, Health and Disability products

  • Long Term care experience is a Plus

  • Working with an offshore vendor is a Plus

    Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or commensurate work experience

    The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
