CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Power Engineer III to join our Power & Manufacturing - Advanced Energy/Manufacturing Team at our Fort Washington, PA, Colonie, NY or Parsippany, NJ office.

The Electrical Power Engineer III conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, our Engineer III works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

Additionally, the Electrical Power Engineer recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, makes appropriate corrections, and follows standard procedures established by the technical group. This professional develops a familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the firm's and client's practices, procedures, and standards. REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) required Minimum 3 years' related engineering experience required Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Power Systems experience Arc Flash Study and Coordination Study experience (SKM preferred) Low voltage AC power experience and field experience preferred Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective engineering discipline Has a strong theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering field Familiar with QA/QC procedures Strong knowledge of engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required Understanding of project budgeting processes required Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist mid and senior level engineering and project management staff Strong verbal and written communication skills Participation in a professional engineering society/organization preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$85,000 - $99,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
