Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a plumber specialist for an international (OCONUS) assignment. International travel is required for this position. Duties include:

Servicing of customers’ water/drainage systems on the job site

Ordering materials, tools and instruments

Preparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenance

Completing required paper work timely and accurately

Troubleshooting failures both in service center and on customer locations

Installing, maintaining and repairing electronic devices related to plumbing systems.

Practicing and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulations

Assuring that equipment is operating in accordance with manufacture’s specifications

Servicing water softener and check for proper operation of hot water and steam boilers

Servicing systems, entire building

Servicing all building components

Operating a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient manner

Reading diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and manufacture’s specifications and comprehend information to accomplish assigned tasks

Reading directions and labels of chemicals as well as work request and requirements

Maintaining confidentiality

Basic Qualifications:

Successful completion of an apprenticeship with a qualified plumber

Proven experience working as a plumber in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and equipment

Working knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work

Exceptional customer service and client focus

Desired Skills:

Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

Familiar with plumbing tools and equipment

Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Valid plumbing license to practice the profession

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
