We are currently hiring for a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services at United States Army MEDDAC for Soldier Readiness Processing in Fort Stewart, GA.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hour schedule / 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (may include some weekends and holidays according to facility need)

    Duties include leading the assessment team for Soldier Readiness Processing. Any ongoing treatment to be referred out to appropriate provider. Great schedule for mid-level provider wanting a set schedule or slower pace. No shift work, no on-call. Position can be filled by NP or PA who meets the following qualifications.

    As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the Soldier Readiness Program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and readiness of military personnel. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of medical assessments, preventive care, and readiness standards to support the operational effectiveness of the armed forces. You will work closely with military personnel, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality healthcare services and maintain optimal readiness levels among soldiers.

    The Nurse Practitioner (NP) must have the following qualifications:

  • Degree/Education: Master's degree in nursing. Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate.

  • Experience: Must have 1 year in the last 2 working as a Nurse Practitioner in the care of Adult Patients.

  • Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States.

    The Physician Assistant (PA) must have the following qualifications:

  • Degree/Education: Bachelor's Degree - Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)

  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Certified by the National Assistant in the care of adult patients

  • Board Certification: None

  • Experience: Must have 1 year in the last 2 working as a Physician's Assistant in the care of Adult Patients

  • Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States to practice as a Physician Assistant
