Summary About the Position: This position is located at Fort Shafter, which is on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Oahu is the third largest island in the Hawaiian chain. The island is very geographically diverse with mountains, rainforests, volcanic craters, tropics, beaches and much more. Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. Responsibilities Drafts correspondence and prepares reports requested by management. Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that they support the mission and objectives established by management. Disseminates general information such as publications and other important materials among staff members to inform them of upcoming events and guidance. Supports office functions and services in coordinating or responding to service members inquiries. Administers the Defense Travel System (DTS) program for an organization. Ensures accuracy of correspondence prepared for management's signature to include format, grammar, and spelling.
