Dowhas an exciting opportunity for anInventory/MRO Coordinatorlocated inFort Saskatchewan (AB, CAN).

The Inventory/MRO Coordinator will support the Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) Supplies inventory. The role requires full proficiency in a range of processes, procedures, and systems, and ability to perform a broad range of work assignments. The MRO Coordinator will act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Responsibilities- Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role:

  • Assist the business in articulating the business MRO supply strategy

  • Analyze, establish and manage MRO inventory levels, records and parameters

  • Handle reservations and backorders for MRO inventory items. Set up new items for inventory and execute MRO inventory replenishments

  • Analyze surplus, obsolete, slow moving materials or equipment and initiate investment recovery process

  • Participate in standardization of MRO materials and "share the spare" process

  • Document Critical Spare Part Definition and parameters for critical spare parts

  • Perform technical identification of new and/or existing MRO materials

  • Act as problem solver for technical aspects of MRO materials

  • Works with the Reliability Engineer to identify spare parts

  • Monitor supplier performances regarding timelines and completeness of deliveries

  • Participate in site MRO networks

  • Generate data and reports for the business

  • Backup other Inventory/ MRO Coordinators and support the MRO warehouse team

  • Participate in systems support functions including changes to programs, functionality, and testing

  • Support Vendor Managed Inventory, Slow Moving Inventory, Obsolete Part Management and Investment Recovery

Qualifications- Required education, experience and abilities that are needed for this role (must haves)

  • A minimum of a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.

  • A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.
