Position Specific Description
This position is for an Electrical Substation Apprentice and requires candidates to have completed and passed Indian River State College Electrical Power Technology Program. Candidates will need to obtain Nuclear Access.
Trains under Substation Electricians or Forepersons to qualify as an Electrician, and under their supervision performs all the duties of a Substation Electrician.
Minimum requirements for job:
- Must be capable of qualifying in substation switching
Be capable of working at heights in excess of 20 feet
Is capable of lifting OSHA Standard Loads
Is capable of working in confined spaces
- Constr and Skilled Trades Test passed-CAST
- Complete IRSC Power Technology Program
