KBR Hygiene Equipment Mechanic in Fort Myers, Florida

Title:

Hygiene Equipment Mechanic

Hygiene equipment mechanics install, operate, inspect, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, water purification equipment, water distribution systems, laundry and shower facilities and fumigation equipment. Provides technical assistance, guidance, or training to lower level mechanics and assists higher level mechanics. Performs other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent. Six years of related work experience. Complete the Basic Hygiene Equipment Operator Course, or equivalent. Complete Advanced Military Maintenance School courses or civilian equivalent, as applicable. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In-depth knowledge of electrical circuitry, electrical principles and formulas, and their practical application to the equipment and systems repaired. Ability to apply knowledge of wire color codes, symbols, layout sheets, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical orders, and manufacturer’s specifications. Thorough knowledge of the entire water treatment system and user requirements in order to locate problems and initiate corrective action. Ability to read meters, gauges, charts, and experience in regulating water volume and performing treatment processes. Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License. Ability to comply with all established methods, safety standards, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position. U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
