BABY BEAR HUGS Parenting Educator Bilingual in Fort Morgan, Colorado

REQUIREMENTS: High School graduate or equivalent and one year of relevant experience required.

PREFERRED: Associates or Bachelor's Degree

WAGE: $14.00/hour to start, Negotiable

DAYS/HRS.: 20 hours a week, may expand

DESCRIPTION:Provide curriculum based visits in the homes of families who sign up voluntarily for the program. - Will work out of the Baby Bear Hugs County Office but will spend most of the time in homes of the families to be visited. - Must be willing to travel, have insured transportation, and show proof of license and insurance. Must support child immunizations, nonsmoking and elimination of second hand smoke policies. - Must attend initial orientation and training. - Must attend monthly All Staff meetings held in Yuma, regional meetings/trainings with other Parenting Educators and/or County Coordinators. May attend local Advisory Committee meetings on request of County Coordinator and other community meetings as necessary.
