Job Overview

The intern will gain exposure to learning and working in a variety of operations departments to become familiar with the production, safety, and overarching business processes. The intern is expected to spend time across multiple departments, with a focus on both Productivity & Quality Assurance. The Intern will also gain exposure to corporate operational support departments such as sales, quality, production planning, warehouse, and human resources, etc.

Primary Responsibilities

· Learn how to operate equipment efficiently and safely.

· Support operators by moving material in and out of the inserting production area in accordance with Standard Work practices.

· Work with leadership and production associates to improve work areas.

· Assist operations in safety, quality, delivery, and cost related process improvement initiatives.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills required for interaction with operations, and management.

Requirements

· High School Diploma or G.E.D., vocational or technical school diploma or certificate

· The ability to work 12 hours/day Monday-Wednesday
