THE BUSINESS UNIT

Honeywell Industrial Automation is a business unit that focuses on enabling process industry operations, creating sensor technologies, automating supply chains, and improving worker safety. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of software products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define comprehensive test strategies and test plans.

• Execute automated test cases, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in software quality.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve defects and improve software quality.

• Generate and communicate test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering or quality testing or technology field experience in driving continuous improvement, product quality, and customer experience

WE VALUE

  • Create product performance standards, test plans, and develop test environments to ensure product software meets industry and internal specifications.

  • Skills working with cross functional project teams to develop test strategies, perform product validation, and facilitate transition from development to product release.

  • Knowledgeable and proficient in requirement analysis, test case creation, test case execution, test case failure analysis, test lab development, and proficient in all tools used to support such activities.

  • Experience in test automation system and script development to improve test efficiency.

  • Ability to track and analyze failure trends, identify issues, help the global engineering team to drive root cause analysis, recommended corrective actions.

  • Capability to understand technical product specifications and working with development engineers to design complete test plans that will lead to discovery of critical issues on product.

  • Proficient in estimating testing schedules and optimizing test plans.

  • Ability to analyze competitive products, document results, and drive improvements based on these.

  • Drive continuous improvement to testing process to provide better quality or reduced test duration.

  • Support ongoing software cadence releases for security, functional improvements, and bug fix.

  • Participates as the technical expert/liaison between customer support and engineering to resolve field issues.

  • Embedded programming experience is a plus.

  • Six Sigma / DFSS background, strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

  • Process oriented and customer focused.

  • Results driven with a positive can-do attitude.
