As a top candidate, you will be part of the Honeywell’s User Experience Design team, researching and defining the UX requirements for to improve and introduce new products within Honeywell’s Productivity Solutions & Services (PSS) business. We deliver an end-to-end experience across every touch point of the solution lifecycle. We use well-established human-centered design principles to ensure that Honeywell hardware products and software applications are useful, usable and desirable products in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the engineering, business representatives and other UX professionals, to perform Research with end users, external partners, and strategic customer accounts.

  • Help to create user-centered designs for products and services that differentiate our brands in the marketplace around the world.

  • Provide a clear and consistent voice on end-to-end UX strategy to project teams & stakeholders.

  • Work with other functional designers in an interdisciplinary studio to create and constantly improve the framework and best practices across our world-class design studios.

  • Collaborate with other XD disciplines, including industrial design, interaction design, user research and graphic design specialists to create design strategies, develop advanced design concepts and deliver outstanding products to market that delight our customers and the employees using our offerings.     U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human factors, user experience design, related degree or equivalent experience.

  • Relevant work experience in user research and usability testing for corporate or B2B projects.

  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally on short-notice.

  • Must be able to share a portfolio of examples of prior user research experience

    WE VALUE

  • Specialization or diploma in human factors, HCI, UX, product innovation or related field.

  • Remarkable portfolio of applying user-centered design research and practices in product development.

  • Demonstrated experience; successfully scoping, planning and consistently executing projects, successfully meeting the requirements, phases and gates of the product development process.

  • Fluency using qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as competitive benchmarking, trends analysis, ethnography, interviews, usability assessment, and surveys, among others.

  • Experience in understanding and synthesizing both user and business needs using a variety of frameworks and visualization tools (mapping trends, experience journeys, workflows, stakeholders, etc.)

  • Ability to organize and moderate group activities (workshops, evaluative focus groups, product planning and ideation sessions).

  • Positive attitude and resiliency to pivot work plans and strategies according to business requirements.
