Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking Software Developers with at least two years of experience in website coding, basic graphics techniques, Structured Query Language (SQL), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and Extensible Markup Language (XML).

Responsibilities:

  • Use strong C# programming skills to develop new cutting-edge Web-based software solutions and maintain and enhance existing legacy ASP.NET classified websites

  • Utilize comprehensive understanding of .Net 6 (aka Core) to develop new enterprise-level Web-based applications using Razor Pages, Dependency Injection, Web APIs and HTTP request and responses

  • Use thorough understanding of Entity Framework (EF) Core 6.0, Migrations and Language Integrated Query (LINQ) syntax to insert, query, update and delete data in SQL Server

  • Use knowledge of Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio daily to implement bug fixes and develop new software functionality

  • Use both Azure DevOps and Git daily to maintain and version control source code repositories

  • Use SQL Server and wide-ranging understanding of relational database principles to create, modify and delete database objects, as well as troubleshoot and address poor database performance

  • Use sound working knowledge of JavaScript to implement AJAX calls, form validation, DOM manipulation and interactivity to new Web-based applications and existing classified Websites

  • Use CSS and user interface (UI) layout frameworks such as Bootstrap 5 to style new Web-based applications and existing classified Websites to create visually appealing UIs and maintain a consistent look and feel across all functionalities

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field and 12 years’ relevant experience; with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years, or

  • Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of relevant experience, or

  • Associate degree and 16 years of relevant, or

  • High school diploma and 20 years of relevant experience.

  • Security Plus certified

  • Qualified at Information Assurance Technical Workforce Requirement Level II as defined in DoD 8570.01-M, Table C3.T1.

  • Skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau; major data science languages, such as R and Python; managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; statistical analysis; and data mining algorithms.

  • Prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.
