HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently seeking a Russian Cryptologic Language Analyst to perform tasks required to process language materials/data at the customer site in Fort Meade, Maryland.

What you will do

The candidate shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:

  • Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information

  • Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions, of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language

  • Performing quality control on language processing activities

  • Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases

  • Drafting intelligence reports

What we are looking for

  • 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 0 years of experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience

  • Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Russian into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission

  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly

Bonus points for...

  • Associate’s Degree or 2 additional years of work experience

  • 4 years of full-time experience or 6 years without degree

  • Equivalent of 4 years of full-time experience in Cryptologic Operations performing language processing in the required language(s)

  • Translating and/or transcribing, and gisting shall be the primary duty for at least 2 of the 4 years of experience

  • Reporting shall be the primary duty for no more than 1 year of the required 4 years

  • 2 years of end product reporting experience

  • 3 years performing Computer Network Operations
