SAIC Crisis Contingency and Emergency Support Team Lead in FORT MEADE, Maryland

Description

SAIC is seeking a Crisis, Contingency, and Emergency Support (CCES) Team Lead located in Fort Meade, Maryland. This position directly supports the USCYBERCOM Joint Operations Center (JOC). The CCES Team Lead denotes the senior position on the CCES team and ensures continuity, training, and consistency across all CCES watch standers. The CCES Team Lead manages the team’s watch shift schedule and ensures relevant position documentation (e.g. instruction guides, standard operating procedures, knowledge portals, etc.) remains current and up-to-date. The CCES Team Lead provides expertise, input, and recommendations to the JOC leadership to support operational changes and process improvements. This often requires partnerships with other JOC support teams and/or staff elements outside the JOC to ensure synchronization and unity of effort. The CCES Team Lead is not a watch stander, but may stand watch from time to time as required.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Develop and track the CCES watch schedule.

  • Maintain accountability of all CCES team members on watch.

  • Approve time off for CCES team members and ensure CCES responsibilities are covered when team members are on leave.

  • Supervise CCES team activities and deliverables production.

  • Provide training and support documentation for CCES team.

  • Attend meetings relevant to CCES or where CCES subject matter expertise is required.

  • Coordinate efforts with other teams and staff elements.

  • All CCES watch stander responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline in the area of expertise from an accredited college or university.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Cyberspace Operations, Telecommunications, or a related functional area.

  • Desired minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • An active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

  • US citizenship.
