Your Impact:

The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the operational status of a technical control facility.

  • Use existing database applications to manage field service operations.

  • Coordinate development of program plans and interface with vendors and customers as required.

  • Perform first-level assistance to customers requesting new services or changes to the program’s worldwide network circuits.

  • Serve as a central point of contact for customers to determine the status of their requirements.

  • Conduct research and analyses of customer needs and requirements.

  • Schedule and track the lifecycle of all circuits from initial request to fulfillment.

  • Aid in the development of annual recurring costs for external customers.

  • Track and monitor IT circuit cost information while aligning annual recurring costs for external customers’ circuits.

  • Establish a costing model to estimate future circuit costs by utilizing historic data.

  • Provide insight and information to the status of all circuit actions.

  • Coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans and interface with vendors and customers as required.

  • Assist engineering and operational elements as required until a customer/user has been implemented on the DISA network and ensure proper recurring costs are recorded and billed correctly.

  • Coordinate technical assistance during installation, upgrade, cancellation, and disconnection activities.

  • Contact customers regarding regular account servicing and/or inform them of additional services.

  • Comply with export control laws pertaining to export-controlled technology or software source code.

  • Develop engineering Requests for Services and generate status reports as required.

  • Manage, present, communicate, and deliver responsive technical solutions.

  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI

  • 10 years of relevant experience

  • GED or HS Equivalent

  • Certification compliant with DoD 8570.01-M

  • Demonstrated experience in a DoD IT environment

  • Expert knowledge of DISA Technical Control guidelines

  • Knowledge of technical control equipment such as switches, encryption devices, network operation consoles, and circuits

  • Knowledge and experience in creating engineering circuit layout diagrams

  • Knowledge and experience in digital and analog circuit design and implementation

  • Knowledge and experience in analysis testing and troubleshooting circuits

  • Knowledge of IP and optical network operation

  • Knowledge of DoD network and system security requirements

  • Knowledge of DISA Service Delivery processes

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills as well as agility and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, leadership, strong work ethic, teamwork, and competent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and/or the mission of the customer

  • Ability to travel within the National Capital Region to visit various physical customer locations

Preferred:

  • Prior experience within DISA and the IC

  • Prior experience with telecom providers

  • Prior knowledge of DISA Storefront and/or other circuit-ordering tools
