Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

This position is in support of the Joint Force Headquarters - Department of Defense Information Network. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring seamless administrative support for our directorates. You will provide administrative support to JFHQ-DODIN directorates, including scheduling, travel, correspondence, task management, documentation, meetings/events, and general office duties.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Handling daily administrative tasks including phone calls, visitors, correspondence, and filing

  • Composing and formatting documents, presentations, reports, and correspondence

  • Making travel arrangements and preparing authorizations and vouchers using DTS

  • Tracking tasks and action items using government tracking systems

  • Coordinating logistics for meetings, conferences, and events including agendas, obtaining A/V equipment, and booking rooms

  • Maintaining calendars, SharePoint sites, and office procedures/protocols

  • Preparing and distributing staff meeting briefs, "read aheads," and activity reports

  • Monitoring inboxes and tasking out assignments using task management systems

  • Retrieving documents and information from files and databases as needed

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • 4+ years of administrative experience supporting military/government operations

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Customer service focused, with the ability to interface with all levels of personnel

    Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours

  • Work is to be performed at Fort Meade, MD
