System One Enterprise Architect (TSC Required) in Fort Mead, Maryland

Our client is seeking a Enterprise Architect with DoDAF experience for a contract-to-hire position. Hybrid 3 days onsite at Fort Meade

What you will be doing:

  • Providing NC3 Enterprise Architecture supporting data-driven enterprise decisions.

  • Supporting senior leaders and provide architectural recommendations to meet strategic objectives for future IT system integration.

  • Collaborating with NC3 architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE).

  • Producing and publishing baseline and incremental NC3 system of systems architectures to support and update information hosted in enterprise digital engineering tools.

  • Developing detailed architecture artifacts for subsets of the NC3 Enterprise, as needed - All View (AV), Operational View (OV), and System View (SV) artifacts.

  • Ingesting, re-formatting, and publishing the NC3 “As-Is” architecture using validated and verified authoritative data to support and update information hosted in the NC3 Enterprise Library (NEL) or other digital engineering tools.

    What you will need:

  • Security Clearance Required – Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

  • One of the following education/experience combinations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field with 2+ years’ relevant experience (3+ years preferred) working with DoDAF procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry standards, OR

  • Experience with DoDAF related capabilities, procedures, and platforms, including developing architecture artifacts per industry is greatly desired

  • Working-level proficiency with tools such as Cameo and/or Tableau (desired)

  • Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with any DoD (NC3) related platforms/systems

  • Experience in DM2 (DoDAF Meta-Model)

  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
