Job Summary:

Performs routine repairs and maintenance of FAS equipment. Performs basic electrical and mechanical repairs to FAS equipment. Repair hoses and hose sleeves on equipment. Required to troubleshoot equipment and report them to supervisor. Clean the shop and all related work areas. Performs routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary. Ensure a safe, healthy, and clean work environment. Duties include but not limited to light electrical and general maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities and Scope:

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance.

  • Perform minor exterior maintenance activities.

  • Assists in maintenance of FAS equipment.

  • Coordinate all major repairs with supervisor.

  • Install hose sleeves on hoses

  • Provide supply and storage transfers between facilities.

  • Track and report all maintenance activities.

  • Ensure work environment is safe and free of clutter.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

    Secondary Responsibilities and Scope:

    Applicants with prior fueling experience, additional education, prior supervisory experience, or aptitude in technology have the option of further professional development learning to operate and maintain a state-of-the-art automated fueling system. Additional compensation along with additional responsibilities would be part of the Fuel Automation Station Operator position. Fuel technicians without experience above can move into this role, contingent upon performance and review by local management.

    Required Skillset/ Experience:

  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.

  • Can perform duties in inclement weather.

  • Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.

  • Must have a current valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation to perform duties.

  • Reliable, prompt and industrious.

    Required Education & Certification:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
