Army Installation Management Command Operations Assistant NF-02 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Summary This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood Pershing Community Center. Bi-weekly reviews and lists will be sent to management starting 15 MAY 2024; additional lists may be sent at management request. Responsibilities Assists management with the operation of facility. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages. Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility. Submits daily report of operations. Completes Daily Activity Report. May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed. HIGLY PREFERRED: Six (6) months or more experience in food & beverage administration. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
