WTW Product Owner in Fort Lee, New Jersey

We are interested in speaking with results oriented, collaborative individuals who thrive in fast-paced and value focused teams. As a member of an Agile Scrum team, the Product Owner is the champion of the product, focuses on the product vision, roadmap, and is the foundation for its success. Their main responsibility is understanding the business, defining customer requirements, and prioritizing the work accordingly. This individual will maintain the product roadmap, lead backlog prioritization of initiatives to target roadmap goals, and ensure consistency across work products. Hybrid work schedule available.

What you need to be successful:

• Build, prioritize, refine and maintain a clear comprehensive product backlog

• Serve as a product expert supporting internal stakeholders; have a deep understanding of and respond to customer feedback ensuring needs and requirements are clearly defined

• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals and expectations

• Ability to interact and collaborate with many roles across the organization i.e. executives, subject matter experts, business operations team members, technology professionals, software developers, and project managers

• Results-driven individual with good business acumen; ability to understand the problem to be solved and deliver appropriate solutions that balances impact, effort, and alignment to objectives

• Strong people skills to establish rapport, credibility, and influence with others across the company

• Strong presentation and communication skills with an ability to simplify and clearly articulate concepts at all levels of the organization and across functions

• Assist in developing and maintaining Product and client roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and technical feasibility

• Review and validate test cases. Review design and test documents to verify that the design will meet the defined requirements

• Effectively manage a backlog of deliverables and capabilities as well as 'test and learn'/experimentation targeted at defining/refining future deliverables, measuring performance and adjusting the overall roadmap of deliverables as needed.

• Analyze metrics to understand customer and product performance. Define OKRs and KPIs to measure business and operational impacts, and relentlessly identify improvements

• Perform any specific domain or functional responsibilities (e.g., dashboard development)

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Agile Product management preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, or applicable field

• Previous Scrum or Agile experience

• Experience managing multiple projects, with competing resources and priorities, through varying phases of design, development and testing

• Outstanding organization, communication, and leadership skills

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ownership of products

• Creative problem solver

• Interpersonal, facilitation, and consultative skills

• Analytical thinking, problem solving and risk assessment

• Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy

• Experience with MS Office tools - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
