As we continue to grow, we are looking for a seasoned Head of Website Conversion Response Optimization to join our dynamic team.

In this pivotal role as the Head of Conversion Rate Optimization, you will be part of an environment that offers a balanced two-day hybrid work model based in either Fort Lee, NJ, or Raleigh, NC. How the Position Works

The Head of Website Conversion Response Optimization will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital marketing efforts, particularly in maximizing conversion rates. This individual will be responsible for identifying and executing strategic testing in high-impact areas, thereby driving significant improvements in our online presence. Reporting to the head of Data Science and Strategic Capabilities, you will play a critical role in driving the strategy, execution, and measurement of our CRO efforts for TRANZACT. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience in conversion rate optimization.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identify strategic areas with high impact for optimization and a process for prioritizing and executing them within TRANZACT’s marketing ecosystem.

  • Lead and execute CRO strategies to improve performance on major enterprise-level websites.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business/Account teams, Paid Media, Content & Creative) to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and goal achievement.

  • Design and execute marketing experiments, test hypotheses, analyze results and page layouts to improve conversion rates across the website.

  • Develop and lead the implementation of comprehensive multivariate tests, ensuring statistical validation and adherence to CRO and web best practices, to optimize various website components, including product pages, landing pages, and form submission processes.

  • Analyze and interpret test and performance data to make informed decisions about website changes and improvements to drive continuous enhancement.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze landing page performance, providing recommendations and implementing tests to improve conversion rate based on data-driven insights.

  • Understand funnel performance, identify customer pain points, generate ongoing insights, and ideate solutions to optimize the user journey.

  • Define research needs for analysis of user behavior to uncover new opportunities for improving the marketing website.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in CRO.

  • Implement efficient processes and best practices to maximize efficiency in order to deliver high-quality insights across our 30+ websites.

  • Optimize conversion funnels to enhance user experience and conversion efficiency.

  • Manage multiple projects and a team (CRO Project Manager and Analyst) demonstrating exceptional organizational discipline, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on conversion rate optimization

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, or related field

  • Proven track record of significantly boosting conversion rates for large-scale, enterprise-level websites.

  • Expertise in website testing methodologies, statistical validation, and a deep understanding of conversion funnels and current CRO/web practices.

  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, Clarity, Full Story, and Adobe Analytics.

  • Strong project management skills, coupled with the capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet concurrent deadlines.

  • Demonstrated expertise in website testing, statistical validation, a strong understanding of conversion funnel, and CRO/web best practices.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, showcasing a natural ability to delve deep into data.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability convey technical and complex information to broader stakeholders and executive leadership
