AutoNation Headquarters We are seeking an accomplished and skilled Director to lead our HR Project & Change Management team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for spearheading strategic HR initiatives, overseeing project management, and guiding organizational change efforts. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in project management, change management, and human resources, demonstrating a track record of successfully implementing impactful projects. This person MUST reside within commuting distance to Irving, TX or Fort Lauderdale, FL. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Project Management Develop, monitor, or execute project plans for HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Assist cross-functional project teams to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects. Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks. Change Management: Formulate and implement effective change management strategies to facilitate seamless transitions within the organization. Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess the impact of changes and develop communication plans. Provide leadership and guidance to employees and managers during periods of change. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement within HR functions and implement streamlined processes. Drive efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement initiatives. Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, Prosci) is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR Project & Change Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven success in managing medium to large-scale HR projects from initiation to completion. Extensive experience in change management methodologies and practices. Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking and the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. Leadership and team management skills.
